A Chilling Commitment to the Community

With the onset of the winter season, we want to acknowledge and appreciate the efforts of our dedicated field crew staff. These individuals are on call 24/7, 365 days a year to ensure the delivery of safe, potable drinking water to our community, even in the face of challenging weather conditions. While many of us bundle up indoors to escape the cold, OCWD field crews are braving the frigid temperatures, and diligently maintaining, repairing, and upgrading our water infrastructure. They understand that clean, safe water is not a luxury but a necessity, and they are committed to making sure that this essential resource remains available to every household, even in the harshest of conditions. These guys work around the clock, often in less-than-ideal conditions, to ensure the water keeps flowing through our taps, providing us with a fundamental resource. Their dedication is a testament to their commitment to public service and their deep sense of responsibility for the well-being of our neighbors and fellow Oldham County residents. They humbly carry out their demanding responsibilities day after day, without any desire for recognition or praise. We extend our deepest appreciation to all the devoted individuals who labor in challenging weather conditions. Your compassion and commitment to the community is truly admirable.
